Paris

My family took a large, and by large, i mean EXTREMELY large trip this year. It all seemed like a dream, it was one of the best vacations! Anyways, i shall write a large post on it soon, once i have gotten myself back together, and have time. So i shall write soon!

Thinking...

Just sunday morning, at about 2 o'clock, one of my really good friend's dad was hit by a drunk driver while he was doing his paper route. My friend who is only 14 only gets to see her dad about 12 weeks of the year, because her parents are divorced and she lives in Smithfield, UT during the school year. She was wanting to move out here with her dad within the next 2 years, and this crash shattered that dream. He was killed quickly, but it is such a tradgey. This man was working toward going back to the temple, and had just recently gotten remarried to a very nice woman. I cant think of a time when he had been happier... and then his life was gone...just like that. Another thing is that his son in law, one of pauls best friends, jeremy, was driving right behind him and witnessed the whole thing. My mom, andrew, and i went to see them, and this whole experience has made me think so much about death. We recently had a grandpa die.....which was very hard for my family and me. But that death was expected, he was old and missed grandma so bad, and he just had been wanting to die for quite a while. My friends dad however, was a very different story. He was considerably young. He had two kids, and had just been remarried. He never saw this end coming. nobody but heavenly father knew it was coming.
Can you imagine?
Just thinking about it makes me wonder! Life is so short, and especially if you go just like that... I dont know if I could go on. Heavenly Father works in mysterious ways, taking people here and there. I sometimes wonder why he was supposed to go at that time! He had his life to live, so we thought, but Heavenly Father didn't think so. As i was talking to my friend, of course she was grieving, but also, I think she handled it quite well. We were talking and she was like, I can feel it coming soon, I know the second coming is coming way soon. I think she really had eternal perspective in this situation. she knew she would see him soon, and she cant wait for that day.
Oh how wonderful that day will be when we are joined with our loved ones. Still, can you imagine........just think.....

Life

Life is such a confusing concept. We were sent here to live life through, but imagine if nothing happened afterward. That is why the gospel is such a blessing in the lives of men. I just wish everyone knew what i know.... life would be so much easier! With a strong testimony and when we are sided with Heavenly Father, Satan has no power over us! Imagine a world where everyone was strong, and nobody gave into the temptations of Lucifer. How great that day would be, when we would all be united in the same faith. Life, however is so different. We have so many people, who Satan has taken hold of. It is our responsibility to be instruments in the lords hands and bring these people to the truth! we need to live our life like Christ would. We need to live Life.
